About

Juliet Hyde is a Part 1 Architecture graduate from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, where she was awarded BSc First Class Honours. Her work is underpinned by a deep interest in conservation and adaptation of historic fabric - most recently completing YACademy's Architecture for Heritage high-level training course.

Spanning between scales, her projects blend a strong conceptual foundation with technical precision. With an adoration of model-making and hand-drawing, she loves physically working on proposals, throughout her projects reflecting a sensitivity to history and context.

Part of her passion is documenting places and projects, her aim being to creatively bring art to architecture. Recent travel to SE Asia has been a particular inspiration. She's experimented with a variety of mediums, currently with a focus on detailed fine-liner drawings. By testing and exploring artistic methods she hopes to narrow down her own personal style.
