Only a day trip in Bratislava from Vienna - we spent the full day slowly touring round. Stumbling across fun and colourful details to full buildings like the Blue Church and a tea and cake stop, although a ridiculously decadent hot chocolate for me.
Surprises like the bronze statue of a man wearing a helmet and peeking out of a manhole had superstitions for good luck. Once we had explored the old town we headed up to Bratislava Castle and discovered some stunning gardens.
