A day trip from Brussels, Bruges is a small but incredible city. The town-like feel definitely shines through with cobblestone streets and small winding paths.
I admit most of my knowledge of Bruges as a city prior to research and visiting came from the film 'In Bruges'. Iconic scenes in the Market Square and Belfry Tower I thoroughly enjoyed.
My adoration for church windows particularly coming through from the Church of Our Lady (the first photo). Bruges was easy to loop around effectively in a circle, with a final stop of Lovers' Bridge (feature photo).
