I am currently part-way through both 'Architect, Verb', and 'In Montmartre'.
The first, a critical examination of architecture and sustainability. The idea that architecture is no longer just about aesthetics but defined by consultants, developers and planners.
The second, a group biography exploring the Paris art scene from 1900-1910. Since visiting Paris last August this book has opened up my knowledge to the history of the city. So far taking me through key figures such as Matisse, Gertrude Stein and Andre Derain, and general Bohemian Life from cafés to cabarets.
