The final stop on the final leg of travel before starting YACademy's Architecture for Heritage course! I could talk for days about how incredible Paris was, especially Musée d'Orsay. I adore impressionist art and Renoir's Bal du moulin de la Galette really took me.
Some of the best views were from Musée d'Orsay, Galeries Lafayette rooftop and from the Sacré-Cœur. The stained-glass and physical model were perfection. Wandering the streets of Paris led to gem after gem for both architecture and art.
The Louvre I didn't get to spend as long in as I'd hoped, but the immense crowds made it more difficult to enjoy. The sculptures were my main highlight with The Venus de Milo, The Three Graces and The Winged Victory of Samothrace.
Concluding the travel segment of my year in Paris felt very apt, there is much more I hope to do in the future, especially in Paris. But right now I am thoroughly looking forward to starting this new course centred on heritage regeneration and conservation.
