During my travel over 2025 I was accepted onto YACademy's Architecture for Heritage course ranking 8th of the top 20 applicants, which I started in September. An intense four months of lectures, workshops and exams later I am pleased to share I have completed the course. Lectures and a design workshop led by professional architects focused on regeneration, conservation and adaptation of historical architectures. A huge thanks to Alessandro Cecchini, director at YACademy, and Francesca Singer, partner at SANAA, both great mentors. And to all of the teachers and peers across the duration of the course.
I've had an absolutely fantastic time over the past four months studying and designing with YACademy. From a group project with Weiqing Ge to the final exam - a project and essay completed in just two weeks! Am excited to see what the next steps are after a very fulfilling year.
